I get so excited during the month of March because it is National Craft Month. It gives me an excuse to do more of what I love to do all year long (I guess I don’t really need an excuseJ). March also marks our last month of Sale-A-Bration, one of our biggest events of the year. Have you heard about the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement? Our own Manager of Demonstrator Training, Shannon West, was taken back by our use of social media taking away from the personal touch of celebrations. She chose to return to the time when a sending birthday card was a celebration in itself. She asked if there was anyone who wanted a handmade birthday card from her, and she would send one to you. She hand carved a stamp,#imbringingbirthdaysback, and stamps the back of the envelope, and the movement was begun. We loved the stamp, and the meaning behind the effort, and we begged Shannon and Stampin’ Up! to make the stamp for us…and they did. Shannon now has over 1300 cards to make, and we commend her for bringing back the feel of the personalized card that we as card makers treasure. With very short notice of the stamp being available only while supplies last (we had less than a day notice) the stamp sold out in 4 hours! Stampin’ Up! has decided to release the stamp as a regular offering for everyone! Starting tomorrow, March 7, at 12am, the stamp will be available for purchase (item # 143573). Make sure you get yours soon and we can bring Birthdays back together!

Participants will use of color, texture, accessories, etc. to make technique samples for your technique book, and well as complete projects. Class Fee: 15.00. Are you ready for the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement? The workshop is designed to get you moving. We will celebrate the handmade birthday card and the joy one gets when receiving one. Techniques, of course, will be applicable to other card making celebrations. Multiple card projects will be created. Class Fee: $23.00. Please RSVP no later than April 13, 2016. Hope you can join us…I feel a party coming on!
